This Thursday: Morguard To Host Fourth Annual Golf Tournament To Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Boca Raton, FL – This Thursday, November 21, Morguard Corporation is hosting the fourth annual fundraiser golf tournament benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

The tournament, co-hosted with ClubLink, is aiming to raise significant funds in combination with other donations received for the LLS thanks to the active participation of Morguard’s associates in additional activities throughout the year, including:

  • All 265 team members of Morguard’s regional office and 27 residential properties in the U.S. have participated in local Light the Night fundraising campaigns and walks
  • Each Morguard office and each associate have their own Light the Night team to raise funds via LLS’s online platform
  • Morguard associates are participating in additional Light the Night walks until the end of 2019

Morguard invites members of the media to attend the golf tournament for the closing speeches, be among the first to hear about the highlights of the day and learn about the additional initiatives supported in 2019.

About Morguard’s Charitable Work

  • Since 2016, Morguard’s teams in the U.S. have raised over USD $115,000 through the individual and team fundraising efforts put into the Light the Night walks, and through the annual golf tournament. Corporate donations are also represented in the time Morguard employees donate supporting the event realization
  • Morguard and its team in the U.S. is also proud to participate in other charitable activities throughout the year. During the Holiday season, associates participate in Toys for Tots, a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas
  • Within the 27 local teams, team members are also active in supporting the communities they serve, including Back to School drives. Associates are encouraged to volunteer at charities of their choice, for which Morguard provides paid time
  • From a corporate standpoint, Morguard advocates to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention, and is an active participant in the Be You campaign to increase self-esteem, personal growth and self-worth in young women. Additional activities include the recent donation of all appliances in one of its buildings prior to renovations, to Habitat for Humanity and Green Project
