Don’t Worry, the Boca Raton IPIC Is Here To Stay

Earlier this year, just days after the IPIC movie theater in Delray Beach opened, IPIC filed for bankruptcy. Although the company may have filed for bankruptcy, they have still kept their 15 theaters opened, which includes both the theater in Boca Raton and the one in Delray Beach. But, this past Monday November 6, a new IPIC Theaters company emerged, without the original founder Hamid Hashemi.

According to Boca Magazine, the new owner of the company was previously IPIC’s largest creditor at about $200 million, and it is the Retirement System of Alabama (RSA). But, there has been no statement as to who the new CEO of the company is or would be.

This new company is the same as the last, just with a different financial foundation. It will still be the same luxury movie theater it has always been, and the Boca Raton location is seemingly staying for awhile longer.
