Another Former Spanish River High School Teacher Under Heat

Dianna Vacco taught at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton when she retired  back in 2017.

But recent reports and evidence show she faced sexual abuse allegations.

WPTV reviewed the case documents and found Vacco had denied sexually abusing two young students when she taught in New York in the 80s.

However, recently Vacco did admit to inappropriate behavior claiming she did “some stupid things” such as sleepovers with the girl’s basketball team.

The district began looking into Vacco’s criminal history after receiving an anonymous email on October 4 of 2016, stating Vacco was a child predator assaulting minors.

Following the investigation, the reporting officers did not find any past criminal history to cause alarm as Vacco had no arrests and was not a registered sex offender.

As a result, the district closed the case in March of 2017.

This case continues as two women in New York recently filed a lawsuit earlier this year on the behalf of Vacco’s sexual assault. They claim Vacco assaulted them hundreds of times when they were only 10 and 15 years of age in the 80s.
