Police Respond to Active Shooter at Boca Town Center Mall
As of around 3 p.m. today, reports surfaced of an active shooter at Town Center mall in Boca Raton.
After shots were reportedly fired, the Boca Raton Police and SWAT team arrived.
According to WSVN News, the mall was put on lockdown and the SWAT team assisted in evacuating shoppers.
The mall has been mostly evacuated and police are currently investigating the situation.
The shooter has yet to be apprehended and no further details have been released.
Civilian have been urged to stay away from the mall and that general vicinity until the situation is under control.
