Palm Beach County School Bus Strikes Cyclist in Delray Beach

After Florida made its way to the list of highest pedestrian-vehicle incidents, we have been seeing an increase in pedestrian and cyclist injuries in the news.

On this Tuesday morning, Delray Beach police reported that an adult bicyclist was struck by a school bus.

According to officers, no children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

WPTV states, the accident occurred somewhere around 5:45 a.m. south of the Atlantic Avenue and Congress Avenue intersect.

The road was closed in order to transport the injured cyclist to Delray Medical Center.

Both Southbound lanes on Congress Avenue reopened at 7:50 a.m.

There is still no further details on the cyclist’s condition.
