A second annual statewide Mobility Week will be celebrated Oct. 25 – Nov. 1, by cities, counties, employers, individuals and transportation partner agencies.
Mobility Week is a collection of outreach events to bring attention to safe, multimodal transportation choices, highlight achievements, and kick off new initiatives or policies.
Take the challenge to try a new way to travel during Mobility Week 2019. The Mix-It-Up Challenge is an opportunity to earn rewards for riding transit, biking, walking, carpooling or teleworking.

Prize Details: Participants that log trips between Oct 25–Nov 1, 2019 will be automatically entered in a drawing for prizes.
Winners will be selected randomly. Winners will be notified via email by November 15, 2019 and will have until November 30, 2019 to claim prize(s) once notified. If winners do not reply within the required timeframe, they forfeit all rights to prizes, and another winner will be selected. Prizes will include gift cards, passes to local attractions, and other promotional items.\

Rail
Explore Tri-Rail, providing service along a 72-mile corridor in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. There are a total of eighteen stations.

All have shuttle services to/from Tri-Rail stations to other major destinations.
Brightline: Operated by All Aboard Florida, Brightline provides premium express rail service along the FEC rail line from West Palm Beach to Miami with planned future service to Orlando.
Metrorail: Explore Metrorail, a 25-mile elevated rapid transit system that provides service to Miami International Airport and runs from Kendall through South Miami, Coral Gables, and downtown Miami; to the Civic Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital area; and to Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, and Medley in northwest Miami-Dade, with connections to Broward and Palm Beach counties at the Tri-Rail/Metrorail transfer station. The 23 accessible Metrorail stations are about one mile apart, providing easy access for bus riders and pedestrians.
Ridesharing
Ridesharing is a great way to cutting down transportation costs and reducing your carbon footprint.

Telecommuting
Telework is a work arrangement whereby employees are allowed to perform the normal duties and responsibilities of their positions through the use of computers or telecommunications, at home or another place apart from the employees’ usual place of work. Ask your supervisor or human resources staff if you can telework during Mobility Week.
Bicycling
Bicycling is one of the most utilized modes of active transportation in South Florida. Thousands of South Florida residents bike to work as their primary mode or use their bikes in conjunction with bus/rail.

Walking and Bicycling Safety
