Heightened Security at Palm Beach Central High School Due to Threats

The Palm Beach County School District has seen an excess amount of school threats within the past couple of months.

As of earlier this morning, the Palm Beach County School District announced that Palm Beach Central High School will be seeing an increased police presence due to recently surfaced threats.

According to WPTV, officers stated the threat was found written on a bathroom stall at the high school.

The police officers are currently investigating the incident and taking the threat very seriously in order to ensure student safety.

The police department reminds citizens that it is a crime to announce a threat towards a school and any person found guilty could face criminal charges and discipline under the Student Code of Conduct.
