Former NBA Star Charged for Allegedly Slapping a Man at Delray Beach Bar
News had surfaced last May, that Dennis Rodman the former NBA star, was accused of slapping a man on May 17 at a Delray Beach Bar.
According to police reports, the incident took place on May 17 at Rodman’s 58th birthday party at Buddha Sky Bar on Atlantic Avenue.
The alleged victim was 30-year-old Jeff Soulouque, who claims that Rodman hit him for no reason.
The victim did claim that Rodman immediately apologized following the incident and did show remorse.
Another witness confirmed Soulouque’s story, claiming he saw this confrontation take place.
After going home that night, Soulouque realized he had facial swelling and decided to press charges.
According to WPTV, the officer who took the report did not notice facial swelling on the victim.
Rodman has been charged with battery and pleaded not guilty.
