Man Crashes into Patrol Car with Stolen Vehicle and Attacks K-9 in West Palm Beach

Authorities report that an 18-year-old man, Danlee Russell, crashed into a police car with a stolen vehicle in West Palm Beach.

According to WPTV, the arrest report states Russell was driving a stolen black Dodge Charger when he was spotted by the officer.

Russell continued to speed away in attempt to escape, but was pursued for several blocks. Russell then crashed into the patrol car in attempt to flee the scene.

He sought refuge in a canal when a K-9 tracked and retrieved him.

Arrest reports claim Russell attempted to pull the dog into the water and attack it.

Russell was arrested on September 19th with multiple charges consisting of grand theft auto and aggravated assault on law enforcement.

He is currently still in jail with a $100,000 bond.
