Howard Alan Events Announces Season of Free, Outdoor Art Festivals in South Florida Starting with Delray this Weekend!

Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavors Announces its
Award-Winning Art and Craft Festivals for 2019/2020 Season

 Thousands of top local and national artists and artisans to bring beautiful and practical hand-made creations to South Florida

 Nation’s largest art and craft festival producer brings back popular Live Well Be Well Tour healthy living event during four major shows

 

Boca Raton, FL – Jupiter-based entrepreneurs Howard and Debbie Alan have produced their signature shows in vibrant downtown communities throughout the country for more than 30 years. Their shows have provided creative careers for thousands of artists, brought millions of dollars in economic impact for the retail stores and restaurants to the towns in which the shows take place, and revealed the wildly creative talents of thousands of artists.

This season, along with their American Craft Endeavors counterpart, Howard Alan Events is slated to produce more than 80 shows – most of which will take place in Florida. Additionally, last year’s highly successful Live Well Be Well Tour is returning this season to join HAE’s most recognizable shows: the October Las Olas Art Fair, Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival, Stuart Art Festival, Boca Fest and Downtown West Palm Beach Art Festival. This festival-within-a-festival features free demonstrations, samples and offerings from local and national healthy lifestyle and healthy living organizations.

 This season’s line up of shows include:

+ September 21 – 22, 10 am to 4 pm both days

25th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival
330 East Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33483

Located on 4th and Atlantic Avenue, this fall-favorite event celebrates a quarter century with more than 100 craft artisans from around the state. The free, two-day event includes thousands of whimsical, practical and affordable items along with a full green market.

+ October 12 – 13, 10 am to 5 pm both days

2nd Annual Coconut Creek Craft Festival
4433 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073

The Coconut Creek Craft Festival will line the Promenade with local and national crafters displaying their one-of-a-kind arts and crafts. The Promenade at Coconut Creek is North Broward County’s premier open air shopping and dining experience. The inaugural event is free to the public and pet-friendly.

+ October 19 – 20, 10 am to 5 pm both days
32nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair
620 Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Ranked as one of the top 100 art fairs in the nation, this free, two-day event kicks off the art festival season with nearly 150 of the top-ranked artists in the nation bringing stunning, hand-made creations to the heart of Broward County along Las Olas Boulevard.

20th Annual Downtown Stuart Craft Festival

26 SW Osceola Street, Stuart, FL 34994

The lovely seaside town along the Atlantic Ocean will welcome 100+ craft artisans from around the state during this free, two-day event. A green market with handmade soaps, delicious edibles joins the creative crafts available for purchase on SW Osceola Street.

18th Annual Juno Beach Craft Festival

A Palm Beach favorite, visitors are invited to stroll along the stunning, scenic A1A beach road while perusing thousands of handmade, affordable craft creations. Craft Artisans travel from around the country to attend this can’t-miss event, ensuring an enormous selection of home décor, pet accessories, garden items, wearable art, jewelry, tasty treats, handmade soaps, and more.

+ November 23 – 24, 10 am to 5 pm both days

Coral Springs Craft Fair at The Walk
2800 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065

Following more than a decade of success each March during the Coral Springs Festival of the Arts & Crafts, ACE is proud to announce its newest show in the same great location. The large, lifestyle pedestrian center “The Walk” will welcome nearly 100 crafter artisans during this free, two-day event filled with handmade creative creations.

20th Annual Downtown Delray Beach Thanksgiving Weekend Art Festival

Downtown Delray Beach residents and visitors can once more skip the Black Friday lines and Cyber Monday madness for the chance to find the most creative, unique holiday gifts during this free, juried art happening. Photography, ceramics, fiber art, glasswork, paintings, sculpture, mixed media and more are showcased by the artists themselves, allowing every patron to discover the inspiration and processes behind each piece. Includes Live Well Be Well Tour!

32nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair (Part I)

The preeminent art fair for South Florida! More than 250 artists from around the world line the west end of iconic Las Olas Boulevard with handmade creations including life-size sculptures, art-deco wall pieces, master craft glasswork, woven and hand-painted wearable art, paintings and more stunning surprises found in each gallery-style booth. This is also the chance to pick up the annual Las Olas Art Fair official poster, selected from the hundreds of national and international artists’ submissions in competition for being chosen as the centerpiece of the coveted collectors’ item.

33rd Annual Boca Fest at Town Center Mall

One of the best-established and highest anticipated art shows of the year, Boca Fest features the top 150 vetted artists from around the United States filling the space in front of the Town Center Mall. The free event offers high-end and affordable art for every taste. Includes Live Well Be Well Tour!

31st Annual Downtown Delray Beach Festival of the Arts

One of the largest art festivals in the nation returns along Atlantic Avenue. More than 250 artists bring life-sized sculpture, handcrafted jewelry, wearable art, paintings, music and more to this free, two-day art experience. Visitors will find tasty treats and chic apparel from the shops and restaurants along the vibrant downtown road.

19th Annual Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts

Howard Alan Events and the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce will once again welcome the nation’s top artists and skilled craft artisans during the 19th Annual Hobe Sound Festival of the Arts. The free, outdoor event features hundreds of gallery-style booths filled with every medium of fine art lining Dixie Highway from Bridge Road to Venus Street. Comprised of both a fully juried art fair and a vetted craft fair, the popular event hosts more than 250 artists and craft artisans on site each day, as well entertainment and an interactive kid’s zone!

30th Annual Downtown Stuart Art Festival

The stunningly beautiful seaside town of Stuart will celebrate thirty years of its famous, outdoor gallery stroll during this fee event. Whimsical and practical handmade works of art are offered from nearly 200 national artists in this juried showcase on SW Osceola Street. One of the most popular events of the year, residents and visitors spend hours outside in the beautiful, Florida weather appreciating larger-than-life sculptures, glittering glass, jewelry, photography and more. This anniversary event will feature the Live Well Be Well Tour filled with healthy living and healthy lifestyle samples, demonstrations and offerings.

2nd Annual Coconut Creek Craft Festival

Boca Art Show at Boca Center

HAE returns to its origins with this new show. The original Boca Art Show took place at Shops at Boca Center more than 30 years ago and HAE is thrilled to bring national and local artists to this upscale shopping district during the free, two-day event.

32nd Annual Las Olas Art Fair (Part II)

Due to popular demand, the landmark Las Olas Art Fair features two, weekend-long events offering collectors even more choices from amongst the 200-plus artists attending. Once again, the vetted artists feature a range of mediums including life-size and ornamental sculptures, art-deco paintings and mixed media, glasswork, pottery and more.

32nd Annual Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center ArtFest by the Sea at Juno Beach

Northern Palm Beach County marks their calendars every year for this seaside stroll along A1A. The beach road becomes a pedestrian’s dream with hundreds of stunning works of art and craft artisan creations to peruse and to purchase. This preeminent event also features a full green market of handmade soaps, delicious edibles, live plants and more from nearly 300 artists, artisans and creatives.

16th Annual Coral Springs Festival of the Arts and Crafts

The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts has grown considerably over the years into a two-day celebration of arts and culture with a fine art show, contemporary craft festival, theatrical performances and full line-up of live music. Held in conjunction with the Coral Springs Art Festival Committee and the City, this event brings over 100 of the nation’s best artists and crafters to South Florida. Stroll amidst life-size sculptures, spectacular paintings, one-of-a-kind jewels, photography, ceramics, a separate craft festival, Green Market and much more.  Free parking and shuttle service available at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts during the hours of the show on Saturday and Sunday.

23rd Annual Downtown Stuart Craft Festival

Considered a top-springtime event in Martin County, this outdoor craft show is set up along Osceola Street in Downtown Stuart’s historic waterfront area. This event brings together some of the best crafters in the nation with paintings, wooden sculptures, ceramics, one-of-a-kind jewelry, handmade baskets and much more. An expansive green market compliments the weekend with plants, delicious dips, and homemade soaps.
+ April 4 – 5, 10 am to 5 pm both days
10th Annual Downtown West Palm Beach Art Festival
700 S. Rosemary Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
Rosemary Square is the location of a decade-long annual artistic event in the cultural arts’ heart of downtown West Palm Beach. The 100 top-vetted artists join area restaurants in creating a visually stunning experience of fine art amongst gorgeous architecture. The show also includes the final stop of this season’s Live Well Be Well Tour.

All of Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavour shows are free of charge to patrons. Additionally, all artists are on-site for the duration of the events, allowing patrons and visitors to discover the creative inspirations and processes behind every piece.
