Dave Matthews Band performed on July 26, 2019 at Coral Sky Amphitheater

Every summer during the month of July in South Florida there are two things Floridian’s have come to expect: hot summer days and a two-night performance by Dave Matthews Band.

The engagement between band and fans just keeps getting better and better. Thousands of devotees filled the Coral Sky Amphitheater venue on July 26-27 with a majority of them having already attended the show in Tampa the previous night, which comes to no surprise.

In recent years, the band has not had any trouble selling out at the Palm Beach venue or at any other venue for that matter. The performances are consistent with different set lists each night they perform. The band has been known for playing songs differently each time they perform; which has become a staple of DMB’s live shows since the early 1990’s.

For the die-hard fans, Dave Matthews Band has been a special part of their childhood love for music. From the earlier days of performing at small bars to performing at large venues, the performances never disappoint. With a mix of bluesy jazz, funk sounds and the uncanny voice of Dave Mathews, the band followers continues to grow.

The band kicked off the show with “What Would You Say” and it didn’t take long for fans to stand and engage. The set list included a long version of “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel, beautifully performed by the group.

The band has carried a solid lineup over the years with unique musicians; extraordinary at their craft. They include; Stefan Lessard (bass), Carter Beauford (drums & percussion), Rashawn Ross (trumpet), Jeff Coffin (saxophone), Tim Reynolds (lead guitar) and Buddy Strong (keyboards), with most members supporting with vocals.

As of 2018, the band has sold more than 100 million concert tickets and continue to grow their fan base.
