Boca Raton Summer Camp, You Create Academy, Gets National Attention on the TODAY Show for their take on YouTube Video Production for Kids
Developed by filmmaker and Boca Raton resident, Dominic Giannetti, You Create Academy is a summer camp designed to teach methods of video production, editing but first and foremost, safety in public sharing through online channels like YouTube.com.

When NBC producers decided to feature the popular, ever-growing YouTube craze amongst kids and teens, they knew they wanted to find a credible YouTube camp focused on education to underscore an important message. After looking into possibilities in New York and Los Angeles, they found a notable camp in Boca Raton, FL; You Create Academy, founded by Chief Creator, Dominic Giannetti.
You Create Academy is one of the first of its kind nationally, and fortunately for our local South Florida community, it’s located in Boca Raton. With students ages 6-17 years old from Jupiter to Miami, You Create offers a safe space for young and aspiring YouTubers, actors, and filmmakers to create and have fun in a professional studio, with hands-on learning activities led by industry veterans. The academy offers a strong recreational program from single drop in classes to ‘no-school’ day camps and week-long holiday camps. It also has an exceptional program for the more serious student to learn, launch or grow their professional career as an actress, influencer, or filmmaker – whether its audition workshops held by reputable coaches and casting directors, private vocal or YouTube channel sessions, or on-going classes throughout the year. Although still fairly young, several of the academy’s students have already been cast in TV shows, feature films, Broadway shows and more. With a mission to educate through entertainment, You Create doesn’t just prepare talent for tomorrow’s opportunities today… it creates them! It offers an incredible “On Set Experience” program through projects like the Boca Witches TV series, a program that provides student and upcoming seasoned actors an opportunity to learn from a creative team of industry professionals, while gaining REAL on set experience on professional TV shows and movies. Boca Witches is created, written and directed by Dominic Giannetti.This program is only made possible thanks to underwriting from Dominic’s sister company, Studio Space, and its creative team of industry professionals who presently donate their time, energy, know-how, and equipment to the project, and parent contributions which help defray a small cost of the production.
