New Store Concept Provides Enhanced Shopping Experience for Local Residents
Boca Raton, FL – Winn-Dixie will officially reopen a remodeled store in Lake Worth in response to customers who asked for an improved shopping experience. As part of the grand opening ceremony, and to officially reintroduce the community to the new and improved store, a ribbon cutting will take place at the Winn-Dixie store located at 6600 Hypoluxo Road in Lake Worth at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24. A community celebration will also be held for customers at the store on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
With a new concept and features, customers will immediately notice enhancements throughout the new and improved store, including:
- New façade signage and a fresh, contemporary color palate and modern store signage inside.
- Newly updated farm-fresh produce department with an expanded selection of fruits and vegetables, including organic varieties.
- A wide assortment of easy lunch and dinner options, including a hot bar with rotisserie chicken, wing bar with 10 flavor varieties, Smokehouse BBQ and ready-made salads available on the go or to enjoy in new, comfortable café-style seating.
- Expanded bakery department with new selections, displays and fresh bread daily.
- New Natural & Organic section offering over 1,700 items including a large selection of gluten-free and allergen-free products, only available at your local Winn-Dixie.
- Upgraded meat case, featuring custom cut-to-order meats, and fresh, delicious ready-to-grill options.
- Expanded seafood department, offering shoppers a variety of fresh seafood on ice, additional frozen seafood assortments, as well as the “Seafood Made Easy” option where customers can choose the type of seafood, vegetables and seasoning to be packaged together for easy preparation at home.
- New Health and Beauty section with expanded offerings.
- New café with seating area serving coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
- Refreshed pharmacy with expert pharmacists available to answer any questions regarding health and prescriptions.

Customers are invited to the grand opening ceremony Wednesday, July 24, to check out Winn-Dixie’s new look, expanded offerings and savings. The ceremony will include DJ entertainment and check presentations to Park Vista Community High School and Palm Beach County Battalion 4 Station #46. The first 100 customers to arrive at the store at 8 a.m. Wednesday will receive a free mystery gift card valued between $5 and $250.
Additionally, to show appreciation for their continued support, the Lake Worth store will host a community celebration Saturday, July 27 at 10 a.m., with live entertainment, family friendly activities, giveaways and delicious food sampling. One hundred dollar gift card giveaways will be held every 30 minutes on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Customers must be present to win.
Both the grand opening ceremony and community celebration are free and open to all. The new and improved Lake Worth Winn-Dixie store is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.
