USA’s Favorite Menswear Differio Eyeing FL for Expansion

It’s practical for fashion retailers to consider expanding their corporate offices and distribution centers in the “Big Four” of fashion capitals: New York, Milan, Paris and London. During New York Fashion Week alone, nearly $21 million dollars were “pumped into the local economy” towards restaurants, hotels and retail stores, according to DNA Info.

New York City and Los Angeles may be two of America’s largest fashion hubs, but today’s retailers – both start-ups and large corporations – are also discovering potential for business growth in southern Florida.

Among the top fifty best places in the U.S. to start a business compiled by Inc., Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville and Tampa were ranked as the best cities for tech and entrepreneur growth.

Tampa was reported for having “more high-growth companies per capita than New York City.” Additionally, Miami was noted for having the “highest rate of entrepreneurship in the country” due to its high population of immigrants and incubators.

Florida is one of the few U.S. states with no state income tax, which is one of the reasons for its escalating population of “300,000 people per year” while generating “an annual economic output of $1 trillion,” as reported by Tallahassee Democrat.

Chico’s FAS, Venus Fashion and Home Shopping Network (HSN) are several large-scale women’s fashion companies with main offices already established throughout Florida. As for men’s fashion retailers, large menswear corporations based in Florida are far and few between, indicating an opportunity for scaling menswear companies to capitalize in an economical state, such as Differio.

Differio.com is among the leading trendy menswear ecommerces based in New York City that’s currently discussing out-of-state expansion for more corporate and warehouse space with south Florida as a viable option.

They’re just one of the USA’s online men’s trendy clothing stores contributing to menswear’s surging growth, especially amongst streetwear and urban clothing for men. According to data by Euromonitor International, stylish menswear is already expected to outpace women’s wear by 2020.

Online apparel and accessories are projected to reel in over $138 billion dollars by 2022 as stated by Statista, making it more crucial than ever for mens clothing online retailers to be situated in a prime location for fulfillment and distribution centers.

Among U.S. exportation, Florida is currently the “seventh-largest exporting state in the country” and “home to nearly 60,000 exporters, the second highest number in the United States,” as reported by Enterprise Florida.

Moreover, Miami is one of the more attractive south Floridian cities for developing men’s fashion ecommerce because of its high-profile apparel events, such as Miami Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.
