Office Depot | Depot Day of Service | Boys & Girls Club Delray Beach
Boca Raton, FL – Boca Raton-based Office Depot recently hosted its second annual “Depot Day of Service,” the company’s flagship associate-driven volunteer initiative, where associates, friends, family members and non-profit partners united to complete approximately 35 service projects across the U.S. and Canada. In South Florida, more than 300 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to complete a large-scale revitalization project at the Naoma Donnelley Haggin Boys & Girls Club in Delray Beach.
South Florida volunteers worked to beautify the local Boys & Girls clubhouse by:
- Painting the exterior and interior of the clubhouse
- Adding large-scale murals with the guidance of a professional artist
- Developing a spacious gardening instructional center
- Adding plants, mulch, sod, and a stone pathway to the exterior
- Installing a private fence around the grounds
- Cleaning, decorating and furnishing the interior
