Boca Raton, FL – The Artists of Palm Beach County, Inc. (APBC) is pleased to announce its new exhibition, “Latest Work,” which will be on display June 10 – July 27th at the Art on Park Gallery, 800 Park Avenue, Lake Park. The exhibition, which includes only work by APBC members, will have an Opening Reception on Friday, June 21st, 5 – 8 PM.
Artist members were asked to submit their original, most recent work of any subject. 2D and 3D works were welcomed in all media including ceramics, drawing, textiles, glass, jewelry, mixed media, metal, oils, pastel, acrylics, photography, printmaking, watercolor, collage and wood. Gallery Co-Manager, Maxine Schreiber, was chosen to be the featured artist and her oil paintings, “The Gift” and “The Raffle Prize” will hang in the front window.
The gallery is proud to announce that Joan Lipton, Ph.D. will be the Judge for awards. Dr. Lipton is an independent lecturer and art historian who received her Ph.D. from The Graduate Center of the City of New York, with a specialization in 19th and 20th-century art. A popular lecturer, she has held numerous workshops in colleges, alumni associations, adult education centers and libraries in New York City and New Jersey; she is pleased to share her knowledge and enthusiasm at the Society of Four Arts in Palm Beach as well as at the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach. An awards presentation will take place on June 21st at 6:00 PM. Don’t miss this exhibit!
