How To Attract A Good Man In South Florida!

I’ve been living in South Flordia for 5 years now and it’s such a common thing to hear women say “there are no good men in south Florida!” or “How to seduce a man?” I always wondered why women would think this because men were complaining about the same thing!

Yes, it has a lot to do with the nightlife and fast pace environment but I know you can still find love since people in this city are asking and wanting the same things from life and love. I spent these last couple of years interviewing couples and singles in South Florida to figure out what was really going on, and I’m going to share that here with you. These are 4 insightful suggestions I want you to take back with you after reading this article but also the clarity I received when interviewing people in the South Florida area.

Men want the same thing! Now, you’re saying… “what men?” Well, since we live in a fast pace city does not mean our relationships have to be a fast pace.  If you’re still single, its about time to talk and meet with Phoenix matures.

Change your habits: If you are into the nightlife and not meeting potential partners then it’s time to switch it up a little. Start doing things during the day, become a member of many of the clubs and events they have in South Florida. There are numerous thing going on and keep an open mind all while stepping out of your comfort zone!

Respect Yourself: Don’t downplay what you want from a man just to settle. I’m not saying that you should be extremely picky because this can hurt you as well. But if a man is not ready for a relationship and openly tells you this then it’s time to walk away and not waste your time to succeed with a broken heart!

Give the guy a real chance instead of keeping your options open: We might find one thing wrong with him. Like his nails are super short so we don’t give him a real chance. This is when you have to take the time to get to know someone to really see what he can offer. Stop looking at the surface and see what’s under. He is just as nervous as you on the first date. Trust me!

My philosophy on dating has always been this: go on a date as if you’re going to network – it’s just another human you’re meeting.

 South Flordia Dating 101.

  • Take it slow and stop thinking of the guy being your future husband.
  • Let go of expectations. Have fun. And have a backup plan with a friend.
  • Meet for an hour – anyone can handle an hour. If you don’t like him it’s just an hour!
  • If the guy is cool and there’s chemistry – go on another date (without expectations).
  • If not, think of it as a potential business connection or maybe he is a great match for a friend!
  • Be positive and lose the mindset that you hate dating! It takes work. Everything in life takes work.
  • He is freaking out too. Men, get nervous just like women.

Most importantly, stop thinking every man will disappoint you because, with that mentality, they will. I can say one thing about this. When you find Mr. Right you will look back and laugh about all the dates you went through to find him and it will all be worth it. My biggest piece of advice after interviewing couples that found love in South Flordia is that it took them a while. But the two things they all had in common was to continue to be open to love and not give time to the people that could not add value to their lives or were not on the same page. Consider introducing a new element with a lubricant from a UK store to keep things exciting and enjoyable for both partners.

Happy Dating,
