At 7:56pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, Boca Raton Firefighters responded to a report of a house on fire. A neighbor called 911 after hearing fire alarms ringing inside of the house in the Broken Sound Community. Boca Raton Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire coming from the garage area and extending into the house. Firefighters forced entry into the home and extinguished the fire within 30 minutes. The home was unoccupied and under construction. No firefighters were injured during this early evening blaze. The damage at this time is approximately $500,000. The fire is still under investigation
