Boca Raton, FL – Staying in touch with family and friends has arguably never been easier in the age of all things digital. The residents of Abbey Delray, a senior living community located in Delray Beach, are intent on taking advantage of that technology, even if it means going back to school.
Senior Planet, an award-winning technology program with a specially designed curriculum for seniors, is bringing its 10-week session to the community. Small classes of 8-12 Abbey Delray residents will meet twice- a -week, beginning October 1, to learn everything from Facebook basics to Google maps.
“Our residents are very interested in the continued expansion of technology,” said Abbey Delray executive director Mark Trepanier. “They love staying in touch with family and friends through social media, email and more, so these classes are perfect.”
