Orchard Supply Hardware Hosts Local Business Day & Fire Fighter Fashion Show
WHAT
As a part of its national “Local Business Day” campaign, Orchard Supply Hardware in Fort Lauderdale is partnering with Scales Gear and the Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Department on August 25th from 10 AM – 2 PM to showcase local brands and artisans, host a one-of-a-kind Scales Gear fashion show, and school supply drive for local schools in need.
The festivities will kick off at 10 AM where neighbors of Orchard will have the opportunity to connect with local brands such as Scales Gear, Keez Beez, DRVA Wood, and more to learn about their locally-made collections and products, receive product giveaways, exclusive deals and much more. Attendees will also be delighted with free ice cream tastings by Fruitique Ice Cream and free popcorn courtesy of Naples Popcorn Company, plus tons of other fun surprises throughout the day.
Finally, starting at 1 PM, the Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue Department will strut their stuff during Orchard’s fashion show pop-up to celebrate the launch of Scales Gear’s latest line of performance apparel and help raise awareness for local schools in need ahead of the back-to-school season. Neighbors of Orchard are encouraged to attend the “Local Business Day” and fashion show and bring along school supplies for donation or purchase some items conveniently located by the registers. New backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and more are all welcome and will help Fort Lauderdale students from kindergarten through 12th grade start the school year off right.
