Lynn University announces 2018-19 season of Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series

Boca Raton, FL – Lynn University and Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, today announced that both season subscriptions and individual show tickets are available for the popular Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series.

“Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series will feature seven amazing shows this year that will delight entertainment fans of all ages,” says McArt. “The coming season will thrill anyone who loves beautiful music, from Broadway tunes to ABBA, from hits by Aretha and Cher to Piaf, from electrifying choreography to an audience-wowing earth harp.”

She adds, “For more than three decades, I have strived to present the Boca Raton community and all of South Florida with first class entertainment, and I believe this may be the most exciting season yet. We hope to meet new subscribers and make new friends here in the Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center at Lynn University.”

Season subscriptions are now available at a 25 percent discount – only $288 for orchestra seats (regularly $385) and $262 for mezzanine seating (usually $350). Individual show tickets for the Live at Lynn Theatre Series are $70 for box, $55 for orchestra and $50 for mezzanine.

Amore 4Ever

Four Broadway and classical singers and four stunning dancers perform favorite love songs from stage and screen to create a beautiful evening filled with tender harmonies and soaring ballads.

Nov. 3-4

Richard H. Blake: Thinking Back

15 Broadway hits and counting… Blake reflects on his powerhouse career, from child actor – including Prince of Central Park produced by Jan McArt at the Belasco Theatre – a seasoned veteran.

Jan. 5-6

Abbacadabra: The Ultimate ABBA Tribute

Fans of Mama Mia will dance in the aisles to their favorite ABBA hits performed with such detail that those in the audience will swear the original band must have reunited. Dust off the leisure suits and platform shoes and be transported back to the ‘70s.

Jan. 19-20

Cirquesco

The magical artistry of Cirque. The flirtatious camp of Burlesque. An elaborate exploration of sensational choreography and incredible acrobatics set to an electrifying soundtrack, Cirquesco combines international dance and European circus for an unforgettable night that tests the limits of the human body.

Feb. 16-17

Divas 3

A celebration of the greatest divas in history, this show is an enticing mix of pure class, personality and goose-bump-inducing powerhouse vocals that bring down the house with iconic hits from divas such as Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher, Donna Summer and more.

March 9-10

William Close and the Earth Harp Collective

Christine Andreas: Piaf – No Regrets
