Savor a Taste of Summer — while it lasts!  At Harvest Seasonal Grill.

Harvest Seasonal Grill – Signtaure dishes spread

New Summer Menu features fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Special Rose Wine Chef’s Dinner Aug 22!

You probably already know about Harvest Seasonal Grill, the innovative harvest-centric eatery and wine bar located in the Delray Place center on N. Federal Highway and Linton. The cool & contemporary hot spot features fresh, wholesome foods, and showcases locally-sourced, Farm-To-Table ingredients – including sustainable, wild-caught, free-range, organic, and non-GMO products whenever possible — plus a damn good bar scene and wine list!.  (For a more in-depth look, see my earlier review in the Boca Raton Tribune: https://www.bocaratontribune.com/bocaratonnews/2017/04/harvest-seasonal-grill-wine-bar/)

As the name suggests, Harvest Seasonal Grill changes its menu seasonally to capture the best of each season’s fresh offerings.  So, as The Season is quickly sneaking up, don’t miss your chance to grab a last taste of Summer, with Harvest Seasonal Grill’s Summer Menu.  The good folks at Harvest Seasonal Grill have sourced dozens of local South Florida farms and fisheries to obtain the best ingredients for their new Summer offerings.  For starters, beat the heat with a Nutty Watermelon Salad, loaded with watercress, strawberries, blueberries, toasted almonds and lime vinaigrette; Crab & Shrimp Cocktail, or Summer Tuna Tartare with watermelon yuzu vinaigrette, avocado, ginger, soy reduction, basil oil, cashew dust and spiced sesame wontons.

For a more substantial-yet-still healthy meal, go for the Entrée Salads, like the Strawberry Patch Chicken, Summer Crab Cake, or Jamaican Jerk Salmon Salad, with baby mixed greens, avocado, roasted corn & black bean salsa, toasted almonds, papaya and mango vinaigrette ($14 – $20).  Other Summer specials include locally caught Mahi-Mahi Fish Tacos, a delicious Lemon Thyme Chicken; and of course, Harvest’s signature wood-fired Flatbreads, including the Pesto Caprese, Jerk Chicken, and BBQ Pulled Pork (Gluten-free crusts available!).

Vegetarians will find their meat-free bliss with many options, including the Grilled Summer Vegetable Board, with marinated grilled seasonal vegetables accompanied by heirloom tomato relish, roasted olives, golden raisin couscous, Moroccan carrots, chermoula and herb naan flatbread — all for just $10!  And even die-hard carnivores will dig the Portobello “Cheesesteak,” starring beefy Portobello mushrooms on a toasted hero roll with roasted peppers, baby arugula, caramelized onions, sundried tomato vinaigrette, mild cheddar (Yum!).

The best way to beat the heat is with some refreshing Summer Cocktails, like the Red Mango Apricot Tango Sangria, Juicee Summer Affair Cold-Pressed Juices, or my personal favorite, Harvest Peach Bourbon, a delicious concoction (by Harvest’s Chief Mixologist Dave Steiger) of Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, organic agave nectar, peach and ginger ale. It’s like an Old Fashioned, Bourbon & Ginger Ale, and Peach Cocktail all got together and made a party.

Harvest also offers menus for Happy Hour, Meatless Monday, Vegan and Gluten-Free options, and weekend Brunch. Harvest features an outdoor patio and herb garden, bar dining, indoor seating and private dining room for special events.
