College life in Boca is one of the most underappreciated but largest aspects of the community. College life for students in Boca has gotten progressively bigger and better over the years.

Boca has always been known for three things. Snowbirds from the Northeast, expensive everything, and it’s beautiful beaches.

Recently, however, Boca has gotten plenty of buzz about its excellent colleges such as Florida Atlantic University, which received the award of number one public college in the state of Florida for having the highest job placement and highest five-year salary out of college. This means that more and more students are looking at coming to Boca for school.

Seeing that Florida Atlantic University has a student population of over 30,000 students and Lynn University has around 2,100 students, college students make up a large part of the total population of Boca Raton which is around 91,000 people.

Due to this unavoidable and quite large number of people that are directly connected to college life in Boca Raton, The Boca Raton Tribune decided to hire me, a humble college intern, aka Gabe Diaz, aka FAU 2017 Greek Man of the Year, aka a senior in college, to talk about the college life.

College Life with Gabe the Intern is going to be all about the best spots to visit if you are a college student in Boca including but not limited to bars, restaurants, places to shop, beaches, nightlife and more.

You can not only expect reviews and information about many different locations, but also a video series in which we document our stay at all of these places.

The video series is going to include interviews, behind the scenes footage, and hilarious attempts at jokes by Gabe the Intern.

In this journey to explain college life and give the reader the inside scoop on all the best spots to visit as a poor college student in Boca Raton (or not), I will bring along co-workers, and friends to experience what I do on a day-to-day basis.

The Top 5 College Bars in Boca Raton article is coming to you in the next couple of weeks, so make sure to stay tuned. Get ready to be informed, buzzed, fed, and have a laugh or two with this great college friendly series!
