Cocktail Reception Benefits Hospice by the Sea Foundation Educational Series Held at Royal Palm Yacht Club

hospice1BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 30, 2017) – Local members of the Boca Raton community attended the second reception in a series of informative events titled ‘Country Club Cocktails’.

The events are held at local country clubs, and inform the community on the many services provided by Trustbridge, the parent company of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County who combined in 2014 to serve as the only not-for-profit hospice in Palm Beach County.

The invitation-only event, held at Royal Palm Yacht Club in Boca Raton, featured an informative dialogue with three Trustbridge experts: Dr. Leonard Hock Jr., Chief Medical Officer; Jacqueline Lopez-Devine, Chief Clinical Officer; and Christina Herwig, Counseling Resource Leader.

Attendees also heard from Greg Leach, President of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundations, who shared information on the funds the Foundation raises to support programs and services not covered by the normal Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance reimbursement.

hospice2The event was hosted by Royal Palm Club members Barbara Gutin, Debbie Lindstrom and Bob Sheetz. All three hosts are dedicated supporters of the organization, and have named areas in Trustbridge’s Boca Raton Care Center location.

“Bob and I both lost a loved one and experienced the comfort and peace of hospice care. More people need to know the multitude of services available to our community, especially the bereavement services to children and adults.” stated Debbie Lindstrom.

“We are so thankful to our donors who host events such as ‘Country Club Cocktails’ that enable us to spread the word about the services of Trustbridge.” added Greg Leach, President of the Foundation.
