Attention Foodies, Wine & Spirit fans, and Party-goers of all sorts  – the BIG one is almost here!   The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) 22nd Annual Bank of America Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration takes place Friday, March 7 at the Museum. As usual, the Celebration is presented by Bank of America, and all proceeds benefit the MODS.  Now celebrating its 22nd consecutive year, the Celebration continues to be the town’s premier Culinary event – with over 1,500 guests expected to attend.

Don’t miss this amazing chance to savor samplings from over 40 of South Florida’s top restaurants,  along with over 100 wine, spirits, and craft beers (thanks to sponsor Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits). This year’s roster features some of Broward’s top eateries, including Angelo Elia Pizza Bar & Tapas, Beauty & The Feast, Boatyard, Café A La Carte, Crepemaker, Fare to Remember, Gino’s Market, Grateful Palate, Healthy Xpress, Ilios at Hilton, J72 Chef’s Café, John Knox Village, Kitchen 305, Lobster Bar Sea Grille, Mai Kai, Nespresso, Publix Aprons Cooking School, S3, Seasons 52, Shooters Waterfront, Sky Thai Sushi, Susie’s Scrumptious Sweets, SuViche, Timpano, YOLO, and many  more!  Also on tap: Unlimited samplings of fine wines, craft beers, and select spirit tastings; plus a Silent Auction with amazing prizes, and a complimentary Riedel wine glass for every guest.

But the Celebration is not just the area’s top culinary event – it’s also the most fun!  That’s because it takes place within the awesome environs of the Museum of Discovery and Science – where you’re free to roam, explore, discover, challenge your skills (especially fun after a few dozen wine samples!), and generally frolic amongst all the exhibits, state-of-the-art games, live animals, and other cool attractions.

And the fun doesn’t stop there! As soon as the Grand Tasting ends (at 8:00), the famous ultra-chic After-Party begins — with even more culinary delights, drinks, and dancing under the stars! The After-Party will take place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the MODS atrium.

Platinum guests (only 500 available) get one-hour early access to the Grand Tasting (5:30 instead of 6:30), plus exclusive access to Platinum Lounge including premium cuisine and drinks.  “The Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration is always incredible,  and a favorite event in South Florida” notes Co-Chair Elliott Flynn, “The energy of the crowd is electric. With over 40 restaurants and 100 wine, spirit and beer vendors, it’s an exploration that will find your palate dancing with joy!

Ticket prices are $150 for the General Admission, or $250 for the Platinum Experience (limited to 500).

Parties of ten receive a reduced rate of $1,350 for Grand Tasting or $2,250 Platinum Host packages.

The Museum of Discovery and Science Wine, Spirits and Culinary Celebration takes place Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Museum from 6:30 (or 5:30 for Platinum Experience ticketholders) through – 8:00 p.m., and continues with the After Party from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m.  The Museum is located at 401 SW Second Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
