Police Seeks Intruder who Attacked, Robbed Boca Raton Couple

Boca Raton police continue their search for a man they say broke into the home of a sleeping couple and attacked them, then fled with cash and jewelry.

The incident happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, in the 200 block of South Country Club Boulevard.

The couple told police they were awakened by a male, who is about 6-foot- 4, in their bedroom.

The suspect ransacked the bedroom, attacked both the husband and the wife, and then fled from the home with cash and jewelry, police said.

The intruder, who was wearing a mask, entered the bedroom through an unlocked sliding door, police said.

The suspect is described as being 6 foot 4 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing and a black “fishing” mask, and possibly long dreadlocks tied back. Police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call Detective Laz Kimsal at 561-620- 6144,
