Bob and I attended a Great Gatsby New Year’s Eve party at the Pompano Elks Club. We started the evening with cocktails and hors deouvres of beef wellington and bacon and brussel sprouts, which was followed by a very delicious lobster bisque and a huge salad wedge. The entree of surf and turf consisted of a steak and huge jumbo shrimp, garlic mashed potato’s and asparagus. Dessert was a huge tray of assorted pastries. It was a very delightful New Year’s. We met some new friends as well. There was a one man band, but he sounded great singing and dancing the night away!
