Walgreens and BP Robbed Over the Weekend

Over the weekend, there were two armed robberies that occurred in Boca Raton. The first happened Saturday, July 11 at 8:53 pm at the Walgreens, 1851 Clint Moore Road.

The manager of the Walgreen’s told Boca Raton Police officers that the suspect entered the store and pointed a small, silver handgun at several employees and demanded the cash from the registers. The employees complied and the suspect walked out of the store and through the parking lot. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ tall, medium to thick build, wearing a black jacket, dark jean, slight facial hair and a black cloth or hood concealing his face. No one was injured.

The second robbery occurred early Monday morning. At 4:06 am on July 13, two suspects entered the BP gas station, 5440 West Glades Road. The two suspects gathered the two employees at the register and demanded the money. The suspects then ran out of the store and eastbound. Both suspects are described as white males in their late teens or early 20’s, wearing black clothing and shirts over their faces. One suspect was about 6′ and thin the second suspect is about 5’10 and stockier. One suspect had a black handgun. No one was inured.
