More than 1,000 people sat down and had dinner together along Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue for the 7th annual Savor The Avenue on Monday.
A 1,369 foot long table, which stretched from Swinton Avenue east to Fifth Avenue (U.S. 1), was set up like an endless dinner party.
Nineteen of the town’s best restaurants showcased their wares in an outdoor four-course dinner with wine, chatter and an opportunity to see the avenue from a perspective one never usually see while crossing the street.
The event was originally set for March 26 but was rescheduled until Monday because of predicted rain.
