The Consulate General of Brazil’s Headquarters Moves to Coral Gables

The Consulate General of Brazil, currently headquartered in Brickell, will open in Coral Gables on October 20th. As a result of the move, the Consulate will be closed from the 13th to the 17th of October, and will be exclusively assisting Brazilian citizens in case of emergency. Visa services will be unavailable.

The new location will be in the Miami Green Building, 3150 SW 38th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33146 – across from Douglas Road metro station.

Directions to the new headquarters

The Consulate General of Brazil in Miami will be located in the vicinity of Coral Gables, in Miami-Dade County, next to US-1, with easy access either by private or public transportation.

Via I-95 Southbound:

Take Route I-95 southbound until the highway merges with US-1. Take US-1 southbound, and turn right on SW 40th St (Bird Road). Turn left at SW 38th Ave. The Consulate will be at the end of the avenue, at Miami Green Building – 3150 SW 38th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33146.

Via US-1 Northbound:

Take US-1 northbound up to Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Turn left on Ponce de Leon Boulevard and then take the roundabout, turning right on the first exit towards Ruiz Ave. Go straight ahead until Ruiz Ave and SW 38th Ave. merge. The Consulate will be on the left, at Miami Green Building – 3150 SW 38th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33146.

Coming from the Airport:

Take NW 42nd Ave (Le Jeune Road), heading south up to the intersection with SW 40th St. (Bird Road). Turn left on SW 40th St. Go straight ahead and turn right on SW 38th Ave. The Consulate will be at the end of the avenue, at Miami Green Building – 3150 SW 38th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33146.

TRI-RAIL and Metrorail system

Stop at Douglas Road Station (Metrorail System – 111 Avenue Ruiz). The building of the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami is located to the left of the station’s exit, 3150 SW 38th Avenue, Miami, FL, 33146.
