I attended the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce dinner at the beautiful Boca Raton Hotel and Resort last night along with my husband, Bob. The theme was Polynesian Luau and we were greeted as soon as we stepped out of car by two lovely hawaiian ladies. The cocktail reception was held outdoors with loads of hawaiian
goodies and drinks being served to several hundred guests.

We were then moved inside where a full band and several hawaiian dancers entertained the group. The dinner was delightful. A delicious salad with pineapple and lots of interesting things in it was the
first course. The entree was a delicious filet mignon with sweet potatos, onions and string beans. The
dessert was a chocolate souffle and a cup of vanilla ice cream.

The Chamber honored Gov. Rick Scott who unfortunately could not attend, but a video was shown of the
Governor and Lt. Gov. Carlos Cantera accepted the award on the Governor’s behalf.
