Baseball Opens Field for Fall Prospect Workout Camp

By Chad Beattie

The Lynn University baseball staff will be holding a Fall Prospect Workout Camp on Saturday, November 22, at the Lynn University Baseball Field, located in the southeast corner of Lynn’s Campus. Children ages 13 and older will have the opportunity to showcase there baseball skills in front of the Lynn coaching staff. There will also be an instruction portion where the coaches will show the athletes advanced fundamentals of the game.

The cost of the camp is $140 for position players and 2-way players and $80 for pitchers. Equipment and necessary baseball gear will not be provided.

Prospects will participate in drills that cover both sides of the field with defensive workouts and batting practice routines while pitchers and catchers spend their morning in the bullpen learning techniques on delivery and mechanics. Camp concludes with recruiting talk from head coach Rudy Garbalosa and staff who were responsible for Lynn earning the number two seed in the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament.

Registration can be done online or you can mail it in to the Baseball Office at 3601 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL, 33431, payable to Lynn Baseball or you can bring the payment on the day of the camp. We look forward to seeing you out there.
