An unknown male entered a 7 – Eleven in Delray Beach off of Military Trail and purchased merchandise with a counterfeit $20 bill. The cashier realized it was counterfeit at the end of his shift and reported it on July 27.

The same unknown male entered the same location the next day and attempted to receive change for another $20 bill but was told he must make a purchase. The suspect picked out a few items and attempted to pay with the bill. The cashier refused to accept the bill and the suspect questioned if the cashier thought it was fake. The suspect then left the store without incident.

The police ask for anyone who can identify the suspect to contact them immediately.
