An Eagles Landing Elementary School teacher is among three Social Studies teachers picked to represent Palm Beach County in a statewide competition later this year.
The Florida Council for the Social Studies, a professional organization for Social Studies teachers, announced that Lynne Getch, Tiffany Hollis-Cole of Crossroads Academy and Jessica Myerscough of Wellington Elementary will join a pool of three winners from the other 66 counties in Florida for the statewide social studies teachers of the year at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
Getch, Hollis-Cole and Myerscough will be honored in October at the 57th Annual Florida Council for the Social Studies conference in Orlando.
