Deputies Investigate a Shooting in Pahokee – Apprehend two out of three suspects

On Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 10:34 pm, Deputies were investigating a shooting that took place in the 100 block of W 3RD Street, Pahokee, where a victim was shot in the back.

The suspect vehicle (recently stolen) was located at traveling South Bound on SR 715.  The vehicle was pursued into the City of Belle Glade and ended with the suspects bailing out of the vehicle into a neighborhood.

Canine deputies conducted a track from the stolen vehicle and apprehended one suspect hiding in a tree not far from where the pursuit ended.

Deputies responded the 200 block of  NW 14TH where they located and arrested the second suspect. This suspect was also charged with burglary to the vehicle he was found in.

The third suspect was not located. The investigation is being followed up by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office VCD Unit.

 

The suspects have been identified as:

1)    Gage Mckinley, DOB: 9/12/90

2)    Marvin Moore, DOB: 4/22/92

Charges:  Attempted 1st Degree Murder with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Felon In Possession of a Firearm, Fleeing & Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement, Resisting arrest W/O Violence and Grand Theft Auto.
