Call for Craft Vendors for Piles of Smiles “Snow Day” at Sugar Sand Park

By Stacee Lanz

Special to the Boca Raton Tribune

Sugar Sand Park is accepting applications of handmade craft vendors for the Piles of Smiles “Snow Day” on Saturday, Dec. 21 in Boca Raton.

Now in its 3rd year, this community event attracts thousands of attendees every year.

Booth spaces are available for vendors providing original handmade items. No store bought, mass produced or resale items. Areas of interest include: children’s clothing, accessories, toys, gourmet foods, holiday and seasonal crafts, hand-made goods, candles, jewelry, pet items and other unique gifts. Applications and fees must be received by Dec. 1 to guarantee space.

Piles of Smiles “Snow Day” is an opportunity for South Floridians to experience a winter wonderland in our tropical region. Children 3 and older can get on those gloves, hats and sweaters and get ready for a fantastic fun time playing in piles of snow. There also will be other “cool” winter activities and the craft fair.

This event is sponsored by the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District and the City of Boca Raton Recreation Services Department.

For more information and vendor applications, call the Community Center at 561-347-3900 or visit the website at www.SugarSandPark.org/piles-of-smiles. Sugar Sand Park is at 300 S. Military Trail.
