Paw-ty Time to Benefit the Tri County Humane Society

Paw-ty Time will once again be the hot spot for pups and the people who love them on Sunday, August 11th from 11 am to 3pm at the Shoppes at Village Pointe in Boca Raton. This awareness and fundraising party for the Tri County Humane Society is hosted by Yvonne Boice, the owner of the shopping plaza and a devoted dog lover herself.  The event is free and open to the community.
Paw-ty Time will feature an array of fun-filled activities for the entire family. Dog owners will want their pups to participate in the Happy Dog contest—prizes for the winner!  And furry fashionistas will be inspired by the poochies walking the runway in an exciting show coordinated by Brygida Trzaska of Doggie Fashion Shows.
Kids will enjoy a fitness obstacle course while parents can test their skills in the famed firefighters’ challenge. These events along with entertaining zumba dancers, Silver Sneakers fitness demos and other fun activities are being sponsored by Michael’s Body Scenes, which is celebrating their 25th Anniversary as the community’s leading fitness center.
Other entertainment will include performances by Boca Dance Studio, which is celebrating their 30th anniversary, and Velocity Martial Arts. The event will also feature an array of vendors, artists, raffle prizes, cruise drawing and activities for the family.
Paw-ty Time is part of the Boca Chamber Festival Days, a series of fun-filled events held at different locations during the month of August and is facilitated by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
“We are thrilled to be doing Paw-ty Time again,” said Amanda Chussler of the Tri County Humane Society, a 100% no-kill shelter. “This event helps us raise awareness about our need to find loving new homes for our pets. We just returned from Oklahoma with so many adorable abandoned dogs that need to find a family. We hope this event will help us place all of our wonderful animals, and that the raffles will help us raise funds to help continue our important cause.”
“Tri-County is such a worthy organization, and I am delighted to host this event once again,” said Yvonne Boice. “Paw-tytime is a celebration for all the families in our community. We have fun activities for everyone to enjoy.”
