BOCA RATON, Fla.A woman was killed when struck by a southbound Tri-Rail train on Wednesday evening, according to Boca Raton Police.
It happened around 8:25 p.m. just north of Palmetto Park Road, Officer Sandra Boonenberg said.
She said police believe the accident may have been a suicide.
The name of the victim was not released.
Bonnie Arnold, spokeswoman for Tri-Rail, she said all trains that travel in the area have been suspended until further notice and that Tri-Rail is arranging for buses to drive passengers between the Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach stations.
