A handful of units were damaged by smoke and fire in Boca West Monday.
Firefighters were called to 19389 Waters Reach Trail just before noon and discovered two roofs filled with flames.
They began
fighting the fire from the inside but were forced to pull back when the flames raced above them, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue
One person was at home at the time but was able to escape without injuries, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Albert Borroto.
Investigators say 4-to-6 units in the complex were damaged.
Smoke could easily be seen from nearbyYamato Road.
A cause has not yet been determined.
