Another Step Closer: The 13th Annual Pap Corps Walkathon and Health Fair Saturday, March 16

The Pap Corps is on the move! The mexico viagra Champions for Cancer Research are gearing up for their 13thAnnual Walkathon and Health Fair, which takes place at FAU’s Boca Raton campus on Saturday, March 16th at 8:30 a.m. Another Step Closer is this year’s theme, as the Corps celebrates the incredible strides that have been made in cancer research.

The entire community is invited to this all-volunteer organization’s biggest yearly fundraiser. The event will be hosted by WPTV anchorman Michael Williams. The $20 ticket includes muffins, coffee, t-shirt, live entertainment and the opportunity to confer with leading cancer doctors. Visit www.papcorps.org to register online.

Each and every year, The Pap Corps donates millions of dollars to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Over the past 13 years the Walkathon has included innumerable inspiring cancer survivors who are alive and thriving thanks to the incredible doctors and cutting-edge treatments available at Sylvester, South Florida’s only university-based cancer center. This Walkathon will once again feature a special “Ask the Doctor” section so guests can confer with leading specialists.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said JoAnne Goldberg, Pap Corps president. “We encourage the entire community to help us move closer to our goal of creating a World WITHOUT Cancer. The Walkathon is open to everyone, not just Pap Corps members, so it is a wonderful opportunity to gather your friends, have a fun and inspiring morning, and learn more about our work raising research funds for ALL types of cancers.”

“We are so excited about this year’s Walkathon,” said event co-chairs Rita Seiff and Sheila Alper. “Wewill have terrific entertainment and we’re thrilled to have Channel 5 anchorman Michael Williams as our emcee.”
