12/24/2012 SIMPLE BATTERY

A juvenile was arrested for battery and was subsequently placed according to the provisions of the Baker Act.

12/24/2012 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

Two males were involved in a verbal altercation at a home on SW 2nd Avenue, resulting in one pulling a small automatic handgun on the other.

12/25/2012 BURGLARY TO HOTEL/ MOTEL

A woman’s wallet was stolen from her hotel room on East Camino Real.

12/25/2012 BURGLARY TO RESIDENCE

Victims advised that between 12/23/2012 at 1000 hours and 12/25/2012 at 2200 hours an unknown subject(s) entered their apartment on Town Lakes Drive by prying open the patio door and took $250 in cash from the jewelry box. Nothing else taken. Scene was processed.

12/24/2012 SHOPLIFTING/ RETAIL THEFT

Two juvenile sisters were arrested at the Town Center at Boca Raton mall for retail theft totaling $79. Both were released to their mother.

12/24/2012 LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

The victim came to the police station to report several items were removed from his Lexus between 1915-2215 hours on Saturday 12/22/12 while it was parked on East Camino Real.

12/24/2012 THEFT FROM BUILDING

On 12/23/12, an unknown person approached the Sears children’s department checkout register with a sales receipt requesting a price adjustment for a Keurig coffee machine previously purchased. However, the suspect was also holding a new Keurig machine she had just picked up from a display table. The checkout person assumed the coffee machine was the one she had previously purchased and just made the $30 price

adjustment. The suspect took her money from the sales clerk and walked away without paying for the new machine valued at $249.99.

12/24/2012 CREDIT CARD FRAUD

Unknown person made an unauthorized online purchase of $99.95 from an online sales site on 12/13/12 using the complainant’s credit card information.

12/24/2012 VANDALISM TO VEHICLE

On 12/24/12, police responded to Sears at Town Center at Boca Raton mall in reference to vandalism.

12/25/2012 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

A narcotics investigation ensued following a traffic stop on NE 5th Avenue pursuant to plain smell. Juvenile was issued a notice to appear in court.
