FAU Announces “Make Waves on the 50” Gala Host Committee

BOCA RATONFlorida Atlantic University will host “Make Waves on the 50,” a gala event, with proceeds benefitting student scholarships.

A reception was held recently to honor the gala host committee at the Eleanor R. Baldwin House on FAU’s Boca Raton campus. Elizabeth Fago, Martin F. and Jane Greenberg and Raymond and Julie Southern were given special recognition as the honorary co-chairs of the committee.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to our ‘Make Waves on the 50’ host committee members for their support of our second annual gala,” said FAU President Mary Jane Saunders. “Last year’s inaugural gala was a huge success, raising more than $230,000 for student scholarships.”

The black-tie gala event will take place Saturday, November 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Martin F. and Jane Greenberg Foundation Tower at FAU Stadium on the Boca Raton campus. The 30,000-seat stadium, completed in 2011, is the centerpiece of FAU’s Innovation Village, located in the north central area of campus.
