Youth Summer Art Camp Creations On Exhibition at Boca Raton Museum of Art

Boca Raton, FL – The Art School’s Youth Summer Camp is celebrating another year inspiring artistic talent and appreciation with a special exhibition of camper creations at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Eighteen art projects are on display at the Museum, showcasing camper creativity and the program’s strong emphasis of hands-on learning of art history. The Youth Summer Camp Exhibition will be on view at the Museum’s auditorium gallery through September 16.

Young artists (ages 5-12) with proud parents in tow were welcomed to an opening event at the Museum on August 1. Artworks on display range from a collection of camper self-portraits; assemblage created by recycled materials; a Claes Oldenburg-inspired giant banana split; a Louise Nevelson-esque relief sculpture; and flowers designed in oil pastel and watercolor in the vein of Georgia O’Keeffe.
