Clinic Brings Range of Holistic Treatments to Community, Including Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Qi Gong, Meditation, Facial Rejuvenation, Heat Therapy, Herbal Treatments, and More
Boca Raton, Fla. Integrated Holistic Medicine, a West Boca Raton based alternative medicine clinic, which opened in the Fontana Plaza on Lyons Road last month, is celebrating its arrival into the community with a day of free acupuncture. Patients and members of the community are invited to come to the clinic at 9045 La Fontana Blvd, Suite 106 in Boca Raton, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 to experience the benefits of acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medicine practice in which hair-like needles are inserted into the body at various point. The process, which has evolved since its first usage believed to be more than 4,000 years ago, involves no pain and is tailored to the individual patient’s preference – meaning more or fewer needles can be used.
Up to eight people at a time will be permitted to participate in each free 45-minute community acupuncture session on Saturday, August 18. Guests will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis by Integrated Holistic Medicine (IHM) co-owners and acupuncture physicians Carlos Restrepo and Su Sandy Aung. During regular business, the IHM clinic offers both individual and community acupuncture services to its patients on an ongoing basis. Individual acupuncture starts at $50 a session; community acupuncture starts at $30 for an hour-long session where up to eight patients can share a room.
