LAKE WORTH – Frances M. Scheri, 82, of Lake Worth, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012. She was the wife of Robert L. Scheri Sr., and they would have celebrated their 62nd anniversary in August.
Born and raised in Chicago, she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She was employed for many years with IIT Research Institute before she retired in 1985.
She and her husband moved to South Florida in 1987, settling in suburban Lake Worth. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church where her funeral Mass was held Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. Entombment followed in Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Robert, and his wife, Lolita, of Blue Island, Ill.
