Boca Raton, FL – Officers from the Boca Raton Police Services Traffic Homicide Unit are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred Thursday, June 7th at approximately 2:15 am.
Investigators believe the driver of a 2010 BMW, heading southbound on Thatch Palm Drive, lost control and collided with a large palm tree in the swale of 231 Thatch Palm Road. The BMW caught fire, but all occupants were removed and the fire was extinguished by the Boca Raton Fire-Rescue Services Department.
