"WHOOOO Am I?" Owl Naming Contest at Daggerwing Nature Center

BOCA RATON — Daggerwing Nature Center’s newest educational animal, an Eastern screech owl, needs a name.

Visit the nature center during regular operating hours to submit a name for a chance to win a one-on-one Owl Encounter, an original painting by local artist Paul Cummings and the honor of naming the owl. Suggestions may be submitted through June 1.

You can get to know the owl before submitting a name on May 4, May 18 and June 1 at 4 p.m. for a 15-minute meet and greet session. The winning name will be announced the first week in June.

For more details, visit the website, http://www.pbcgov.com/parks/nature/daggerwing_nature_center/ or call the nature center at (561) 629-8760.
