Pet of the week

Has anybody here seen my old friend, Abraham?  He wants a loving home
“Abraham” is a 2-3 year old, neutered male, Vizsla mix.  He is a happy, energetic guy who is looking for an active family to call his own.

He is great with other dogs and is housetrained, too!  Abraham will need a home with previous dog experience or a home with no young children as he still needs some training and a good outlet for his energy – potential agility dog.  His adoption fee is only $58 this month.  Please ask for ID#1608987.
He is available at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, 7100 Belvedere Road, West Palm Beach. All animals are adopted out to qualified applicants on a first-come-first-served basis.

Adopted dogs and cats come with a health care certificate, which must be used within seven days. It offers a free exam from one of the local participating veterinarians and includes health care if the animal becomes sick with a shelter related illness within the first seven days of the adoption. The certificate is restricted and must be used by the adopter immediately.

Pet adoptions are not handled by phone. Interested parties must visit the shelter to view and interact with the adoptable pets before making a final decision about adoption.

For information, call the adoption office at (561) 233-1272 during business hours, M-F 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Those living in the Boca/Delray area may call 276-1344 ext. 41272.
