On December 8th, in a special performance at The Volen Center in Boca Raton, County Commissioner Steven Abrams presented the 55-member Florida Intergenerational Orchestra a proclamation applauding the presentation of the first annual “Legacy Award” to the orchestra by Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs and commemorating “Intergenerational Week.”
The orchestra is comprised of musicians ages 9 to 92 and has been in existence for seven years.
