Bike…a Mission” (www.rideforthepride.org), will help raise college funds for the children of U.S. Marines and Federal Law Enforcement personnel killed while on active duty, said former Marine Sgt. Terence McIntyre, who has pledged to be the first to “Ride For the Pride . . . of a Nation.”

“Our greatest asset is our youth, the future of our nation” said Mr.McIntyre.

McIntyre was inspired to create Ride for The Pride by the story of Corporal Jason Dunham, a marine who sacrificed himself by diving onto a grenade, thus saving several fellow platoon members.  Cpl. Dunham is the first marine to receive the Medal of Honor, awarded by Congress, since Vietnam.  With Jason’s story to inspire him, Terry points his bike toward Miami where he will finish at Sun Life Stadium on December 26th.
